1. Our hours during academic year semesters are:  
   Monday - Thursday 8:00 am - 12:30 am*
   
   Friday 8:00 am - 6:00 pm
   Saturday 9:00 am - 6:00 pm
   Sunday 1:00 pm - 12:30 am*                                                     Note: *Research services end at 9:00 pm; Circulation and reserve services end at 10:30 pm; building closed to visitors but ASC students may study until 12:30 am.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               Visit our Library hours page for updates and information about summer semesters, winter and other break hours, etc.  Extra hours are typically added on weekends around exam time, so watch for announcements.                                                                                                 
   
2. We have six group study rooms! They are located on most floors of the library. Ask a library staff member if you need help finding them.


3. We're here to help - visit the Scottie Research and Rescue Desk on the main level of the library to ask a librarian for research assistance. We are also available via IM, text, phone, and email.

4. We have library-use laptops for students and faculty to check out. We also have digital cameras, digital audio recorders, digital camcorders, and more.
   
   
5. The Woof Woof wi-fi network is available throughout the library for members of the ASC community.
   


6. Search the SOPHIA library catalog for books, movies, CDs, and more! Want to know how to search for DVDs and videos? Watch this 1-minute movie and learn how!
   


7. Search library databases for journal articles. Most of the databases will format your citations for you. See our Help With Citations guide for more information!
   


8. New books and DVDs are located on a freestanding bookcase in the reading room on the first floor of the library.
   
   
9. We have a leisure reading collection, the Browsing Books, located immediately to your left as you enter the library through the main entrance. Sit on one of the comfy green couches and enjoy, or read the daily N.Y.Times, on the newspaper table in this area.
   
   
10. We can help you save time on citations. Ask us about RefWorks today. Check out our RefWorks how-to guide.
    
    
11. Okay - so this began as a top 10 list and grew...we couldn't let you go without telling you that we have lots of cool art on display throughout the library, so come on in and have a look around. Hint: stop by stack 3 and the ground floor.                                                                         
    
12. When the weather is sunny, we have bikes to lend.  The Purple Bikes are great for a trip with a friend into Decatur, to the MARTA station or to the Farmers' Market.
