Cite it!
When you write your research paper, you will need to cite the sources you've used.
Book citations include:
- book author
- book title
- place of publication
- publisher
- date of publication
Periodical citations include:
- article author
- article title
- journal title
- journal volume, number and date
- page numbers
Major style manuals for citation, for in-library use (the APA manual and MLA handbook are on reserve at the circulation desk, Turabian is in the reference collection).
- Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association
- MLA Handbook for Writers of Research Papers
- Manual for Writers of Term Papers, Theses, and Dissertations, by Kate Turabian
